Reliance on Allah is accepting the results that He decides regardless of how they may turn out to be. We may face challenges and difficult situations in our life but we have to face them strongly while believing in Allah. Reliance on Allah provides the lens through which to form one’s outlook and actions to bring about the best outcome. Allah promises to provide for the believer from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him. Allah says:
“Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Verily, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, but the remembrance of Allah is greater.” (Surah Al-Ankabut 29:45)
Reliance to Allah is our belief and the attitude that we have about putting trust in Allah to take care of all affairs of our life. The terms for human habitation are too tricky and too rare, too accurate. We depend on Allah for everything and place reliance on Him. We trust in Allah on all things no matter their worldly affairs or related to Deen. We have to rely on Allah because without His permission nothing could happen or occur. Allah says:
“And, your Lord, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who (are) proud to worship Me will enter Hell (in) humiliation.” (Surah Ghafir 40:60)
Relying on Allah can impart full satisfaction and peace to a person. Allah said he doesn’t help those who don’t help themselves. This life is a test both in good times and bad. The believer sees in every moment an opportunity to reap blessings and rewards. Allah does not send us trials without also giving us the means to seek relief and to make our success easy. The real test of hardship goes beyond worldly concern and discomfort—to how we choose to respond to it. Reliance on Allah is part of One’s faith.

We rely on Him, and the greater the chances that we will try to please Him by following the guidance He has given us, which in turn will lead to goodness in this world and success in the Hereafter.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
- “Allah is the doer of all that He intends.” (Quran 85:16)
- “There is nothing whatever like unto Him.” (Quran 42:11)
- “Allah is never unjust In the least degree.” (Al-Quran 4:40)

- “On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than it can bear” (Quran 2: 286)
Relying on Allah, we are not depressed by what we have lost or intoxicated by our success. We know that all things are in Allah’s hands. And that makes us humbler and more submissive to Lord, thus better believers. The believers who have reliance on Allah will attribute everything to the Will and Pleasure of Allah. He will be penetrating with obedience. Such a man will not be arrogant and imperious. Allah says:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
“O mankind! You (are) those in need of Allah, while Allah, He (is) Free of need the Praiseworthy.” (Surah Fatir 35:15)
Tell Allah everything as you do with your best friend. Share your fears, your worries, your dreams, your goals, your passions and anything else that matters to you. When you express your vulnerability to Allah, you begin to develop this unwavering conviction, that no matter what happens, Allah will be enough for you. There is only so much we can control about our lives, and to be able to deal with the rest we need to rely upon and trust God.
Here are some facts about Allah Almighty that all Muslims should know:

We should all seek, of course, to realize that the element of reliance on Allah is to trust all matters to Him voluntarily, without feeling forced to do so. We must remain optimistic and completely trust that Allah will bring us relief from this pandemic. We must make every effort to take the prescribed precautionary measures. May Allah help us in all difficult situations and give us the strength to overcome them. Ameen.
