Muslims around the world in the West and East celebrate this day according to their devotion and respect for the great prophet. How prophets rejuvenate man was an incredible example in the history of mankind. The holy prophet is considered as the king of all mankind by Allah

The Dignity Of Prophet Muhammad

The dignity of 12th Rabi Ul Awal increases with the prophet Muhammad’s birth The birth of such a man was foretold in the books of religion before his birth many years. Prophet Muhammad was the only man to pray for his enemies and loved his enemies. He forgave them when he won the battle and won Makkah. He was a great blessing for the whole human race. Allah says:

قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا

He said, “Only I am a Messenger (from) your Lord, that I (may) bestow on you a son pure.” (Surah Maryam 19:19)

The prophet used to cry a lot for his people and all the people who were supposed to come into the world after him. He cared for them so much that he wanted to save people from Hell ( a place of eternal damnation and torment). His attitude sets the best example for humanity. The Chaotic World of today can only be filled with light if the prophet Muhammad’s life is followed with the purity of heart.

The Celebrations

Such an occasion is very important for the youth. The love of the prophet is very important for seeding the plant of love into humanity. These celebrations motivated them to follow the path of light. The prophet shows the lesson of tolerance, forgiveness and justice which is lacking in societies these days. Allah says:

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

“And peace (be) on me (the) day I was born and (the) day I will die and (the) Day I will be raised alive.” (Surah Maryam 19:33)

God does not ensure that you will not have problems in life, but it shows the right way to deal with every situation in these dark times. The people congratulate each other on this day as they feel the warmth of the prophet’s love and light upon them on this day. Allah says:

وَسَلَامٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

“The peace is on Him the day when he was born and the day when he will die and the day when he will be raised alive.” (Surah Maryam 19:15)

The 12th of Rabi al-Awwal is especially important to the Muslims because on this day the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was born. This day takes them back to the memory of the one who led humanity from darkness to light and who is described by Allah as “a mercy to all the worlds”.The Muslims in East and West celebrate the Prophet’s birth anniversary on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal. Such an occasion is meant to remind people of how the Prophet lived his life. Allah says:

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

“And peace (be) on me (the) day I was born and (the) day I will die and (the) Day I will be raised alive.”
(Surah Maryam 19:33)
