Arang Kel is a village, and tourist spot in the Neelam valley of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located on the hilltop above Kel at an altitude of 8,379 feet.The Kel is located near Line of Control and the road which leads there is non metallic. There are frequent landslides during Summers, and Snow slides on this road during winters. In winters all the routes are blocked and it is very difficult to reach there. All these factors combined made it one of the most difficult places to reach.

Kel is a village in Neelam Valley, Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 155 kilometers (96 mi) from Muzaffarabad at the altitude of 6,879 feet (2,097 m) feet.Buses run daily between Muzaffarabad and Kel in good weather. Few private hotels and a rest house of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department located there for tourists stay. It also has a bank, college, hospital and a bazaar.

The village is accessible by a 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) trek from Kel. To reach Kel people usually enter into the Neelam valley from Muzafarabad. Roads are only good from Muzafarabad up to Athmuqam and one can use public van service to reach there. After passing Athmuqam, one has to use a personal or rented vehicle to pass through Keran, Kutton, Dawarrian and Sharda and then to reach Kel. Kel is located just 19 kilometers (12 mi) ahead from Sharda at the altitude of 6,879 feet (2,097 m).
